ASSISTANCE TO VICTIMS OF FIRE IN BITOU

The Executive Mayor of Bitou Local Municipality Cllr Peter Lobese has set up the BITOU FIRE VICTIMS DISASTER RELIEF FUND in conjunction with Nedbank SA.

“I am hereby making a call on all South Africans as individuals and or organisations to help our victims of this natural disaster in their process of rebuild. We in Bitou braced ourselves for a flooding disaster, yet we were hit by fire.”

The community of Bitou showed great support towards fellow residents throughout this stressful situation and thereby brought the Bitou Municipal vision to life. “To be the best together”

“As the Executive Mayor of this town I am hereby making a friendly request to persons/businesses to donate items to victims of the Bitou fire.”

Needed items include:
• Imperishable food products,
• Toiletries,

Items can be delivered to the Methodist Church Hall based at Muller Street off Marine Drive.

Any financial donations can be made to the BITOU FIRE VICTIMS DISASTER RELIEF FUND created by Bitou Municipality.
