BITOU MUNICIPALITY - PERSONNEL ON DUTY

COVID 19: GENERAL NOTIFICATION

The general public as well as all employees of Bitou Municipality are requested to take note of the following:

Although the Covid 19 measures will be relaxed from 01 May 2020 to level 4, remain the current emergency employment arrangements for all personnel of Bitou Municipality unchanged.

The following arrangements remain in place:

  • Only essential services will be rendered which allow / permit the following employees to work:
    • Water Services
    • Electrical Services
    • Sanitation Services
    • Refuse Services
    • Law Enforcement Services
    • Traffic Control Services
    • Customer Care and Communication Services
    • Fire Fighting Services
  • All other personnel should work from home where and if possible and adhere to the “lockdown” regulations and not report for duty.

The abovementioned measures will remain in place until further notice.
