Cll W Craig congratulated the participants on completing the training and stated that he is also a very proud member of Plett NSRI and also practises se the same knowledge they obtained during the span of the course. He further said that “I hope that you will not forget your 3H's and your ABC's”. Cllr spoke about a life saved and the experiences thereafter.

Mr M Stratu highlighted that First Aid training is good for everyday use in and around the house when family and friends are in distress.

Mr R Smit said “education has the power to change the world. The various sports clubs in and around Plett will be in need of a first aider and that might be your stepping stone towards your next opportunity. Make your certificate work for you”.

Mr D Meyer said that if the budget allows then we might look into formal paramedic and or nursing training to enhance the current First Aid qualification obtained by the participants.
