FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOWARDS FURTHER STUDIES 2022

ACADEMIC YEAR

   MUNICIPAL NOTICE: 103/2022

Applications for financial assistance towards further studies for the 2022 academic year, are invited from learners who have passed Grade 12 and who are currently busy obtaining a valid qualification in any of the following fields;

 Finance, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Infrastructure.  

The assistance will be restricted to full-time studies at SAQA accredited Tertiary or TVET institutions and is aimed at students whose parents solely resides within the Bitou Municipality Area.

Bursary Requirements:

Applications for bursary must be done in writing on the prescribed application form.

Application forms are available at the Bitou Local Municipality and at all Municipal Libraries and the municipal website: www.bitou.gov.za

All bursary application must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Grade 12 results or equivalent;
• Proof of registration at a University or TVET Colleges ;
• Latest examinations results of Students currently enrolled at tertiary institutions (First Year Students)
• Certified  copy of Identity Document
• Certified copy of ID documents of parents
• Proof of parents combined income supported by an affidavit;
• Proof of residential address (Municipal Account)

Failure to attach the above mentioned documents in your application will results in disqualification.

Please hand deliver or post your application form and a covering letter, accompanied by original copies of the above mentioned documents to: Bitou Local Municipality, Training & Development Section, Private Bag X 1002, Plettenberg Bay, 6600.

Should candidates not be contacted within two months of the closing date, they may accept that their application was unsuccessful.
