SEDA BRANCHES AND SMMEs

Seda would like to invite applications from qualifying SMMEs to apply for FACIM exhibition that will take place from the 31st  August to the 6th of September 2022 in Maputo, Mozambique.

BACKGROUND OF THE EVENT

FACIM is a multi-sectoral Trade Show held in Maputo, Mozambique. The show is organized by IPEX - Institute for Support to Export - which seeks to facilitate the contact with international exhibitors to stimulate consumption and economic integration in the Mozambique economy.

The main purpose for Seda`s participation at the show is to assist South African SMMEs to access African market, improve their market share in the African continent, and also to promote the spirit of African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Seda will assist the qualifying and approved SMMEs with the following:

• Return flight ticket
• Accommodation (bed, breakfast and dinner)
• Ground transport to and from the hotel
• Stand for exhibition

The show caters for SMMEs in all sectors of the economy to afford them the opportune moment to show case and expose their products and services to the African market.

HOW TO APPLY

The qualifying SMMEs as per the abovementioned sectors must complete the attached application form and  ensure that the following information is attached to the application:
- Company profile
- Proof of company registration
- Three month bank statement or audited financial statement
- Company catalogue
- Tax clearance certificate/ tax code
- Import and Export certificate
- Export Readiness Assessment report (ERAT) signed by the client/SMME, BA and Branch Manager (this is very important)

Please note that the closing date for applications is 27th of May 2022, and all applications must come through the Seda branch or incubation.
