MANDELA DAY – FINANCIAL SERVICES

Educating our Future leaders

“In Xipula Street, KwaNokuthula, Masizame Child and Youth Care Centre cares for up to 30 endangered young people, offering them not only a safe home but therapeutic care, skills development and sense of belonging. Our Early Childhood Development Centre prepares over 100 children aged from 3 to 6 for a successful entry into the educational system. We also run a Drop-in Centre in New Horizons.”

The Finance Department donated used children’s books and clothes to the Masizame Children’s Shelter and spent their 67 minutes reading to the children and painting the rooms of 4 children.

“A good head and good heart are always a formidable combination. But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen, then you have something very special.”
Nelson Mandela
