QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

● Grade 12 ● Computer literacy (MS Office Applications) ● Code B Driver’s License ● 1-year relevant experience.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

● Good Communication Skills and ability to build positive relationships. ●Have passion for working with people and be able to work under pressure; ●Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ●Must be able to communicate in at least two of the official provincial languages; ● Effective organizing and management skills.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

●Performs activities/ tasks associated with registering and recording of incoming and outgoing mail/ correspondences ● Assist with transporting of records to Provincial Archives ●Monitoring adherence to procedural requirements related to the accessing and issuing of documents/ files and or coordinating sequences to facilitate documents / file retrieval from users ●Monitor the circulation and retrieval of documents and correspondences ● Maintaining and updating copies of legislative Acts, By-Laws and standing orders ● Performs tasks/ activities associated with the provision of general office support ●Attend to counter service ● Perform routine filing tasks to assist with filing of documents ● Handle the routine tasks regarding the opening and closing of files. ● Provision of messenger/ driver services.
