There is a cable fault at the Robberg Eskom supply substation (SS1) which needs to be repaired. Eskom technicians are also currently on site attending to the aforementioned power interruption.

Bitou Municipality is experiencing unplanned power interruptions in the following areas affected by the unplanned power interruption, are as follows:

• Natures Valley
• Keurboomstrand
• Kurland
• Wittedrift
• Kwanokuthula
• Kranshoek
• Harkerville
• Buffelsnek

The estimated time for completion as indicated by Eskom is 20h00 tonight.

Bitou municipality will keep affected residents updated as and when new information becomes available. We also want to apologize to the affected residents for the inconvenience caused by the unplanned interruption.
