Facts about Bitou Waste Transfer Station

1. Plettenberg bay  Landfill Site was officially closed on the 15th December 2018;
2. The Bitou Waste Transfer Station then became the site for all domestic, green and household bulky waste disposal. No Industrial Waste or Bulky Waste are allowed at the Waste Transfer Station.
3. The Bitou Waste Transfer station is based in Kwanokuthula, it is easily accessible from the N2 just after passing the Kwanokuthula main entrance coming from Plettenberg Bay Central, and it is on the left.  For those coming from Knysna side the entrance is before reaching the Kwanokuthula main entrance and it is on the right.
