How to Apply on the E-Recruitment Portal
Before applying please ensure you have fully completed the Bitou Municipality Application Form and have certified (not older than 6 months) digital copies of the following supporting documents:
- Valid ID Document
- Qualifications
- Curriculum Vitae
- Valid Driver’s licence (If Required)

Create an Account
Create an account by completing your email address and creating a strong password (choose password that contains symbols, characters and numbers).
Once you have completed the password fields, A confirmation message will be sent to your email.
[Please check your spam folder if you do not see anything in your inbox].
Go back to the E-Recruitment Home page and sign in with your confirmed email address and password.
Complete Profile
Create a new profile by clicking the heading on top of the page named “Create Your Application Profile”.
Please note: If you already have a profile, the system will flag you as an already existing user.
Ensure that you fully complete all the fields and the following sections:
Section 1: Personal Information
Section 2: Languages
Section 3: School Qualifications (Explanation of the NQF Levels is attached).
Section 4: Highest School Qualification
Section 5: Other Qualifications
Section 6: Current Studies
Section 7: Courses and Certificates
Section 8: Employment History
Section 9: References
Please note: If fields are not relevant to you, you can enter None or Non-applicable.
Once complete save and review your profile, thereafter select Submit if you are satisfied with your information.
Upload Supporting Documents
Click on Choose file and attach your documents from your PC.
Please ensure you click save, before you submit your documents.
Documents must be in PDF.
Certified for not less than 6 months.
Apply for a position
Click on Current vacancies.
Please ensure the position you are applying for is from Bitou Municipality.
Sign in and click Apply.
Please ensure you fully complete the application Questionnaire fields.
Once you have successfully submitted your application, you will receive a reference.
You can check your Inbox for the status of your application.

Only online applications will be accepted.

1. Non-submission of required documents or submission of fraudulent documents.
Canvassing of Councillors and/or officials.
2. Non-adherence to the instructions on the advertisement
