The Engineering Services Department, previously known as Public Works, comprises five sections, namely: Water Quality Control, Project Management, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Roads and Stormwater and Fleet Management

To ensure a safe, effective, uninterrupted and economical electrical and mechanical engineering service to the community within the municipal supply area.
