Please note that Bitou Municipality has postponed the planned power interruption for Sunday 25 February to the 24th of March 2024. 

Areas that will be impacted by the power outage are: Plettenberg Bay South: Robberg, Beachy Head, Longships, River Club, Beacon Island, Central Beach, Bull street, Hobie beach, Odlands, Crows Nest, Harker Street and surrounds, EXCLUDING Eskom customers at Robberg. 

The purpose of the planned interruption is to do essential maintenance work on Bitou’s electrical transmission network. 

Customers are advised to, at all times, treat all electrical infrastructure as live since the power can be switched back sooner than the anticipated time.

We extend our sincerest apologies for any confusion and inconvenience caused by the recent notice regarding a planned electric outage for February 25. 

We understand the importance of accurate and timely notifications, especially when it comes to scheduled service interruptions that may affect your daily routines. We deeply regret any inconvenience or uncertainty this may have caused.
