Notice: Is hereby given in terms of Section 28(3) of the Municipal Systems Act (Act No. 32 of 2000) prescribes that the Municipality must inform communities about the particulars of the process it intends to follow in drafting the Integrated Development Plan. 

On Monday, 25/08/2025, Council adopted the 2025/2026 IDP Process Plan and Budget Time Schedule. The council resolution gives effect to sections 28, 34 of the Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2002, and section 21 (b) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003 

Copies of the IDP Process Plan and IDP/Budget/PMS Time Schedule will be published on the Bitou Municipality's website, which can be accessed on the municipal website. www.bitou.gov.za
