Women's Month ends on a high in Bitou

The Bitou Public Safety Officials and the South African Police Services ended Women’s Month on a high, holding a women- only roving roadblock.

The roadblock not only focused on the full vehicle inspection, but also gave motorists information on GBV, emergency numbers and a SAPS victim support room used in Bitou.

The two sites that the officials focused on were the N2 under the Plett Bridge and the Taxi rank in town.

Traffic official, Xoliswa Siziba, said this was the second roadblock this month and as officers they wanted something motorists remember.
