Invitation to Participate in the Bitou Youth Day Expo 

 

The Bitou Municipality is pleased to invite you to the Bitou Youth Day Expo, which will take place on 15 June 2025 at Kwanokuthula Stadium, Plettenberg Bay. 

This event seeks to celebrate the vibrant youth of Bitou while providing a platform for skills development, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurial growth. We aim to connect stakeholders, including government departments, private enterprises, and development agencies, with the youth of our community. 

PUBLIC NOTICE | Grant –In-Aid: Advertisement

Organizations and bodies that qualify in terms of the criteria and prescriptions contained in Bitou Municipality’s Grant-in-Aid Policy and Section 67 of the Municipal Financial Management Act 2003 are hereby invited to submit proposals for Arts Festival Programs to be undertaken during the month of March 2025. 

Only applications submitted on the prescribed application form and accompanied by all the required information, documentation, financial statements, covering letter, etc., will be considered.

MEDIA RELEASE | Bitou Executive Mayor Speaks On The Drive To Accelerating Service Delivery To All Communities

Bitou Executive Mayor, Councillor Jessica Kamkam, says the municipality has upped the ante in the drive to better the lives of its residents.

This statement comes as the contractor appointed to electrify the Qolweni Informal Settlement in Ward 3, goes on site this week. The contractor will be electrifying 104 new houses and performing 180 upgrades to existing meters.
