Notice is hereby given in terms of section 14(1) and (2) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates         Act, 2004; that at its meeting of 29 May 2026, the Council resolved by way of council resolution number C/2/353/05/26, to levy the rates on property reflected in the schedule below with effect from 1 July 2026. 

Provision of Indigent Verification Services. 

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49(1)(a)(i) and Section 78(5) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No.6 of 2004), hereinafter referred to as the “Act” that the first Supplementary Valuation Roll for the 2025/2029 financial years is open for public inspection at the various municipal offices and libraries within the municipal boundaries and in addition at: www.bitou.gov.za from 22 May 2026 to  22 July 2026.
