The Bitou Mayoral Easter Festival is set to commence this weekend, celebrating local talent across four sporting codes: rugby, soccer, netball, and cricket.

The festival will kick off at the New Horizons Sports Field and conclude at the Kwanokuthula Sports Field.

This is as the municipality unveiled its new fleet this week.

residents of Bitou Local Municipality who meet the requirements. The successful candidate will
provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth site operations, proper
participant management, accurate reporting, and compliance with CWP policies, audit
requirements, and useful work targets.

The Community Work Programme (CWP) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Site Manager. The successful candidate will coordinate and monitor effective implementation of CWP activities in the CWP site, ensuring alignment with service delivery priorities, compliance with audit and programme standards, and timely reporting. The role also includes coordinating CWP Public and Private Partnerships, training delivery, compiling reports, and supporting stakeholder engagement.
