Notice is hereby given in terms of section 21 of the Local Government: Municipal System Act, 2000, Section 22 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003, and Section 127(5) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003) read with Section 21A of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000) that the Draft IDP 2026/2027, Draft Budget and Tariffs 2026/2027 for the Bitou Local Municipality are available to the general public and organizations for representations and comments. 

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS), in collaboration with the Bitou Municipality, invites arts and culture stakeholders and practitioners to a DCAS Arts and Culture Interactive Session for the Arts Sector.

The workshops will help you understand our funding guidelines and compliance requirements, which are key in ensuring a successfully submitted application, as well as how to apply for our Annual Funding.

Building plan applications may be submitted on the understanding that they will only be processed as from 12 January 2026.
